Embracing a New Year: Setting the Stage for Growth and Reflection

As we step into a new year, I feel a deep sense of renewal and hope. This is the perfect time to reflect on our individual journeys and set intentions for personal growth. This January, I’d love for you to join me in embracing the opportunity to deepen our relationship with Jesus and embrace a holistic approach to well-being. Each week holds a unique theme, paired with a thoughtful Bible verse, to guide our reflections together.

Week 1: Discovering New Beginnings

In our first week, let’s explore what it means to prioritize our relationship with Jesus. Take time to reflect on the challenges you've faced, the gratitude you hold in your heart, and the new things God is doing in your life. By starting the year with intention, we open ourselves to His guidance and love. I encourage you to journal about specific ways you can invite Jesus into your daily life. I believe that every new day is an opportunity for growth and transformation.

Week 2: Building a Foundation of Faith

During the second week, let’s focus on trusting God in uncertain times. I understand how difficult it can be to release habits that no longer serve us, but nurturing our mental health is essential. Through prayer and reflection, we can align our lives with His path. Write about moments when you've felt doubt and how you can turn those feelings into opportunities for deeper faith. I’ve learned that acknowledging our struggles is part of the healing journey, and it opens the door for God’s grace to work in our lives.

Week 3: Nurturing Relationships

The third week highlights the importance of nurturing our relationships with others. Reflect on the love of Jesus in your connections and consider how you can support one another through vulnerability and acts of kindness. Is there someone in your life who could use a little extra love right now? Journal about how you can show them you care. At Jesayn.com, I’m passionate about fostering a community where we uplift each other and grow in faith together.

Week 4: Embracing Growth

As we move into the fourth week, let’s embrace personal growth and identify areas where we want to improve. It’s important to recognize our fears while also celebrating our wellness. Write about a recent challenge you’ve overcome and what you’ve learned from it. Trust that God is at work in your life, even in difficult times. This theme truly resonates with my experiences, as I have found the courage to share my journey of healing and growth using Jesayn.com as my platform.

Week 5: Celebrating Progress

In our final week, I encourage you to look back and celebrate your growth. Acknowledge your accomplishments, no matter how small, and set new intentions for the month ahead. Reflect on how prioritizing your relationship with Jesus has impacted your life. What are your hopes for the future? Write about how you plan to continue this journey of faith. I believe that recognizing our progress is vital for nurturing our connection with God and each other.

These prompts are designed to inspire deep reflection and meaningful action throughout January. As you engage with them, may you feel empowered to grow in faith, nurture your well-being, and celebrate the journey ahead. Be sure to check out my next post for a more detailed daily approach to journaling with specific prompts!

Happy journaling!

New Year's Eve Reflection: Officially Launching Jesayn.com

As we approach the dawn of a new year, I find it essential to pause and reflect on the remarkable journey that has led me to this pivotal moment, particularly as I prepare to officially unveil Jesayn.com. The past few weeks have been a tumultuous mix of challenges and self-doubt, testing my strength in ways I never anticipated. Each day has felt like an uphill battle as I’ve struggled under the immense weight of expectations—endeavoring to be the wife my husband deserves, the mother my children envision, and the daughter my parents need at this stage in their lives. This pressure has created an emotional whirlwind, where fleeting moments of joy are often eclipsed by feelings of inadequacy and fear of falling short.

In this chaotic environment, I’ve often felt like an anomaly—someone who doesn’t fit the conventional mold. Questions about my worthiness plague my thoughts: Am I doing enough? Am I living up to the ideals around me? For far too long, I’ve battled these expectations, feeling lost and overwhelmed, as if I were submerged in a sea of self-doubt. Just when I thought I was sinking, those nagging thoughts would emerge—am I enough? Will I ever become the person everyone believes I can be? Carrying this heavy load has been draining, and I longed for a breakthrough, a way to escape this cycle of turmoil. However, amidst the chaos, I began to sense a flicker of hope—a gentle encouragement from The Lord speaking directly to me, reminding me to surrender my struggles at the foot of His cross. He assured me that He will take them and reminded me that He is ALWAYS here to be my light. Embracing this guidance has opened up a path toward healing and acceptance, allowing me to release my burdens and trust in His unwavering support.

As I set my sights on 2025, I am filled with anticipation and enthusiasm for what Jesayn.com will offer. This platform serves a greater purpose than simply sharing my personal journey; it aims to cultivate a thriving community where we can collectively lay down our burdens at His feet. Together, we will support one another in navigating our struggles and celebrating our triumphs. Jesayn.com will be a sanctuary where we can remind ourselves that we’re not alone in our challenges; instead, we can cast our worries upon Him and find refuge in His love and grace. Together, we will experience the liberation that arises from releasing our anxieties and placing our trust in His perfect plan for our lives.

In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus extends a heartfelt invitation: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” This profound message resonates deeply with me as I take the step to officially launch Jesayn.com. I envision this space as a haven for those seeking solace, a place to relinquish our worries at the cross and experience the comfort of His presence.

As I approach the launch of Jesayn.com, I am committing myself to prayer, seeking Jesus’ guidance to ensure this venture reflects His love and grace. I affirm that 2025 will be the year He has always intended for me, and I am eager to share the journey we will embark on together through Jesayn.com.

I’m also thrilled to let you know that on New Year’s Day, I will be publishing a brief journal prompt blog designed to assist you in navigating the first month of your journey alongside me and OUR Jesus. This will be a wonderful opportunity for reflection, connection, and growth as we embark on this new path together.

Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” This is the commitment I am making as I embark on this journey. I will strive to bring my hopes and fears to Him, trusting that He will lead Jesayn.com and fill it with His peace.

Additionally, I find encouragement in 1 Peter 5:7, which tells us to “cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” This powerful truth reassures me that I am not alone in this pursuit. Our Jesus cares deeply for each of us, eager to lift our burdens and replace them with His peace and purpose.

As we enter into 2025, I warmly invite you to join me at Jesayn.com! Let’s make a commitment to trust Him more profoundly and uplift one another throughout this journey. Connect with us on our social media platforms—Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter—where I’ll be sharing updates, insights, and resources to facilitate our growth in faith together.

And don’t forget to explore https://linktr.ee/theofficialjesayn for all the latest updates! Together, we can anticipate the blessings and opportunities that lie ahead, knowing that Our Jesus walks with us every step of the way.

Here’s to a transformative 2025, overflowing with faith, healing, and the joy of sharing our journeys through Jesayn.com. Happy New Year!

With faith and blessings,

The Gift of Love: Celebrating Jesus This Christmas

Merry Christmas, dear friends!

As I reflect on this beautiful season, my heart is filled with so much joy and gratitude. Christmas is always a time of celebration, but this year, I’m reminded of something truly incredible—God’s love, demonstrated so powerfully through the gift of His Son, Jesus.

In the midst of all the festivities, the gifts, and the special moments, I find myself thinking more and more about the true meaning of this season: the love of God that came down to us in the form of a tiny baby. It’s a love so deep, so pure, and so undeserved. It’s a love that reaches into our hearts and changes everything. And it’s because of this love, shown through the birth of Jesus, that we can have peace, joy, and hope—no matter where we are in life.

In 1 John 4:9-10 (NIV), we read:
“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”

These verses hit me in a special way this Christmas. God didn’t wait for us to love Him first, to deserve His gift, or to get our act together. No—He loved us first. He sent His Son, Jesus, to be born into this world, to walk among us, and to give His life for us. This is love: that Jesus came, not just as a baby in a manger, but as the Savior who would ultimately lay down His life to reconcile us with God.

As I sit here today, I’m filled with gratitude for this love that changed everything. It’s a love that brought my family and me together in ways I never could have imagined. This Christmas, I am especially excited to be with my husband, my children, my precious granddaughter, and all the extended family that will be joining us. It’s been over five years since I’ve had all my kids under one roof, and the joy of being together, of sharing this special time, is overwhelming.

But there’s one person I’m especially thankful to be celebrating with this year: my mom. After years of struggle and distance, we have recently reconciled, and I cannot begin to describe how much this healing means to me. It is only through Jesus, through His love and forgiveness, that we were able to mend what was broken and find a new, deeper bond. This is love—love that restores, love that heals, and love that makes all things new. It’s love that was made possible only because of Our Jesus.

I think about the way Jesus came into the world—humble, unassuming, born in a manger to bring peace to a troubled world. And then I think about how His love continues to reach us today. He is the reason for all the good things we celebrate—family, reconciliation, grace, and hope. Because of Jesus and His love, we can love and forgive in ways that we never thought possible. His love makes all things new. His love is the reason we can experience healing and joy, even in the midst of our pain.

This Christmas, I pray that you feel the power of this love in a personal way. Whether you're surrounded by family or spending the day in quiet reflection, I pray that you feel His presence and peace. Our Jesus is the greatest gift of all, and it is through Him that we live, love, and find purpose in our lives. The hope of Christmas is not found in the gifts we give or receive, but in the fact that God loved us so much that He gave us His Son.

One more verse that has been close to my heart this season is from John 3:16:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

This is love—the love that God demonstrated by sending His Son, not just to be with us, but to save us. And because of this love, we can live through Him, knowing that we are loved, cherished, and forgiven.

So, this Christmas, let’s celebrate the love that came down to us in the form of a tiny baby, born to change the world. Let’s remember that His love is the greatest gift of all, and let it fill our hearts with joy, peace, and hope for the days ahead.

Merry Christmas, and may you experience the love of Jesus in a new and powerful way today and always.

With love and blessings,
Madge
